Not much going on, Olympiad The Big News!


With the 2008 Chess Olympiad going on in Dresden, Germany, TransWarp has lost many of it's regular players. It's been 4 days without a blitz game, however yesterday Saint89 (IM Sergei Yudin RUS) played 4 bullet games. GM Rustemov (Goldmund) is busy watching his team (Russia) holding the lead after 5 rounds in the Olympiad. Who can blame him! It's pretty exciting, I try to watch a game or two, usually the USA team, GM Nakamura had a scary game against South African IM Watu Kobese, however Kobese crumbled under the pressure and Hikaru schooled him in the endgame.
