GM Vladimir Kosyrev stuns TransWarp in 15 0!

GM Vladimir Kosyrev played TransWarp yesterday in 15 min + 0 increment chess (Known as Standard on ICC, that is the fastest time control of the Standard category), stunning it with a win! The position was actually a draw, and GM Kosyrev, known to his fellow ICC'ers as Tankist (even me, who would bet on him with fake chips in the bettingbot channel, but that's a different story), offered a draw, but sadly, I was busy sawing logs and TransWarp was on her own. So Tankist did what anyone would do, kept playing and ended up out blitzing TW. This is where I kind of miss the time control options in the settings of Rybka 3.0, it spent more time in the opening and middlegame, but didn't save that extra for a time battle. But no excuses, I have to go over the game and see what went wrong, hopefully fix it, and move on. You don't make progress without a few setbacks.
The game was also special in that it was the first win against TransWarp, since GM Rauf Mamedov did it in October, the game is in the archives here. Also, TransWarp had been on a run of games without even a draw (89) until Tankist smacked her right in the code. Here is the game: Congrats to Tankist (GM Vladimir Kosyrev)

Tankist vs TransWarp

I do have to give it to GM Kosyrev, offering the draw in an obviously drawn position, but that's the risk an operator has to take when you cannot man the computer all the time. I WISH I was watching, of course I would have taken the draw, but C'est La Vie. :)
