GM Bassem Amin adds to the blitz marathon

Grandmaster Bassem Amin of Egypt played a bunch of games last night and would have continued had it not been for an indexing error by Chesspartner 6, this happens occassionally and after a quick re-index, it's ready to go again. But you have to be observing to do this and not lose your player! I was happily sawing logs when this happened, I woke up and checked the program and saw the error. It was sad as I said before, GM Amin was going to play at least one more game. :(

On that note, TransWarp's rating increased to 3956, I can only wonder if it will make 4000, all it takes is a draw to set it back by 15 pts...a loss would be a huge blow with a 31 point loss (to most players, there may only be 3 or so who could risk more points, but they usually don't play computers. But that's okay, I respect everyone's right to play as they wish, if only everyone did that. Linares 2009 will start later today, about 3 hours from now I believe, 1000 hours ICC time or 0900 hours my time.

Again, I will not be analyzing games as I watch them, you just can't win with the people watching who want evals and those who don't, which often leads to verbal abuse. I really don't need that in my life..so I will just watch.
