GM Varuzhan Akobian plays two!

Grandmaster Varuzhan Akobian played two blitz games early this morning, to my great surprise. I pretty much thought that no one would let TransWarp get closer to a rating of 4000, it shows that there are still players out there who don't care about the points but the game and challenge. GM Hikaru Nakamura showed that there are GM's on ICC who will risk more than 1 point, knowing he's strong enough to gain them back playing other GM's.

One question I wish GM Nakamura would answer is: Does he think he could have placed near if not at the top of the Blitz Championship in Moscow recently, would the lack of being able to use a mouse and a two dimensional board make a difference? I know the difference between 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional chess is almost like night and day, except for moving very fast. There are advantages to both styles, you don't make mouse slips, you can change your move if you haven't let go of the piece in Internet play, smart move, etc. But at the same time, you have maybe better vision, working out problems better spacially, both sides have the risk of a touch move error...I guess it just depends on the person.

I guess I forgot to keep up on Dos Hermanas X due to my health, but I did post all the games, the qualifiers in pgn format, zipped, and the final 32 in just a pgn file on www.transwarpchess.com/games.html as well.
