TransWarp has been sitting idle for a while now. But a lot of times it has to do with the games on ICC, especially the Baku Grand Prix. Most top ICC players are watching those games and when they want to play, they play with a friend or rival for fun. It could be also that GM's and IM's don't want to see their games posted on here... I don't know. But be assured, nice wins will also be posted! Just as those who have split TransWarp's wires have been noted here as well. Here's TransWarp's last blitz loss, vs GM Maxim Dlugy with the A01 Nimzo-Larsen Attack, but do note the hippo comes into play, but Maxim breaks out and takes TW to the woodshed. This was March 28, 2008
i replay it and its a hippo, his just shy of doin repetition, i play speccy these morning, speccy is a computer account at icc, i know it when its operator is making some jokes, computers never ask for take backs right?but speccy does that time, i play her the hippo like crazy for the rest of the game but keep on lossin. you know what? i stop using the hippo and play bookline, i draw her on bookline scotch on ist try, jajajaja
ReplyDeletejayhawker im happy youd start using the chess video game replayer, compared to other replayer it has few glitches, imagine the face of youre blog if youre replayer malfuntion! one more, there is no game replayer that could read pgn of more than 200 moves, i tackle these issue in my blog in the past, the software maker, i forgot his name, the one at chess game.com told me to split the game into two if the pgn go beyond 200, the first 200 is on another replayer and another two hundred is on another one, have you remember that transwarp has games with naka of more than 400 moves?
ReplyDelete1st comment: yeah, there are a lot of good drawing lines besides the hippo, like the Ruy Lopez exchange variation. This line often produces draws vs GM's.
ReplyDelete2: On the chess video game replayer, I wanted to use that first, but I couldn't find the address on your blog, til I clicked the mouse on the "copy this position to diagram generator". Then Viola! There it was! I will have to remember this, however on the website, I think the game replayer there might go over 200 moves, I'm not sure... I will have to check the long Nakamura games on there...but my main point was showing all the aborts. Thanks for the advice!
