Rest Day at EICC, however Dos Hermanas X starts at ICC!

Today is a rest day at the European Individual Chess Championships, However, Dos Hermanas X starts today at the Internet Chess Club! This is by far the best chance for the average player to play a titled player in a real tournament! To sign up for the tournament visit: www.doshermanas.net/ajedrez/OpenInternet/Internet2009 With the first round starting today at 3:00pm ICC Server Time. There will be another round at 8:00pm server time as well (New York Time, Eastern Daylight Time) For rules and regulations on how to join, please check the above site as well. The time controls are 3 0, 3 minutes per side, no increment. I remember the earlier Dos Hermanas tournaments being 8 2, or 8 minutes with 2 second increment, but I believe that the tournaments ended up being 6 hours long...too long. But 3 0 chess is tough for me. I might try a round, get smeared and chalk it up to good fun. Hopefully, some players might try TW and get her over the 4000 mark, been 3 days now without a game, sitting at 3988.
