Sorry Again

I'm sorry I haven't kept up to date on games played by TW, I would like to thank GM Tigran L. Petrosian and GM Bassem Amin for keeping TransWarp active. I have been having a lot of doctor's appts and such to check out my heart. So far, I think things are okay, but the cardiologist still wants me to get a PET scan, which of course I am NOT looking forward to getting. I guess it's like a chemical stress test, of which I have already had two in the past years, and the drug they use, adenasine(sp) is a monster to me. I can't breath and feels like an elephant on my chest. No matter that the techs are telling you your stats are okay, your body is telling you different, and your brain tends to believe your body over the techs!

TransWarp has been honored with the listing of one of it's games on chessgames.com, a loss of course, I submitted some other games to give more of a feel for TransWarp's ability, but I guess they like only the human wins. After all the hubbub is over about my heart, I will try to keep more up to date like before with more tournament results and such. But now, I'm just too worried and tend to forget that I need to do some updating. The latest database isn't full of enough games to post it to transwarpchess.com yet. Oh yes, and I forgot to also give my thanks to GM Hikaru Nakamura for playing some games as well and congratulate him on his invitation to Corus GM-A! About time for him, he will have to miss his Gibraltar tournament if it's the same time though, but I'm sure Corus "A" is a much greater opportunity.

So again, thanks to those who follow this blog, sorry it's been slow, it doesn't do me any good to have it if it's slow, but health comes first. After 20 years of dealing with health problems, you learn that the hard way. And again, Thanks to those GM's who play TransWarp (IM's Too!) it's much appreciated, and hopefully, I won't let TW log off and forget it's logged off.

Take care and Good Chess!

GM Bassem Amin wins at 2 1 Bullet!

GM Bassem Amin pulled off his best bullet showing, winning his first bullet game in well over 200 tries, Great Job!! I guess seeing this win earlier this morning, GM Maxime Vachier-Lagrave decided to give blitz 3 1 a go, but not having the same success. But it is good to see him play again after quite some time, I don't believe he ever tried Deep Rybka 3, only Rybka 2.3.2 mp x64 and earlier. GM Vachier-Lagrave is "Mateus" on The Internet Chess Club, (ICC).

First is GM Amin's great win over TransWarp in bullet, TW is about the only Human only Computer account to offer all versions of bullet, while others will stick only to 1 0 or 1 1, I don't mind 2 1 at all. Also, if you look at the vars of many other Human only comps, they won't accept all time controls of blitz as well, sticking to 0 or 1 second increment. While TW seeks 3 1 blitz, 1 1 bullet and 15 0 standard, this is only because we are allowed only 3 active seeks and these are the most popular vs the computer.

TransWarp vs GM Bassem Amin 2 minute 1 second increment Bullet game.

Follow that up with Mateus' one try vs TW today, again Mateus is GM Maxime Vachier-Lagrave.

RE: FTC Blogger Compensation Endorsement Rule Dec 01, 2009

While TransWarp Chess does get compensation for banner ads from Google Adsense, Google Affiliate Program, Commission Junction Affiliate Program and Allposters.com. TransWarp Chess does try not to personally Endorse any specific product, while I the blogger may like the idea of certain products and services, it is up to you, the reader to decide if a product deserves to be looked at via the ads. I comment on chess and computer chess, this blog is NOT about the products that are featured in the ads. At any rate, to date TransWarp Chess' blog and the small sister blog Paranormal Questions, has in it's account $1.59 from Google Adsense, no distribution of funds until $50.00, $0.00 from Google Affiliate Program and $0.00 from CJ Affiliate Program, $5.74 in holding at Allposters.com until $25.00 is reached in commissions. All this well over a year of blogging, I guess some abuse the blogging system to the point that this rule was made, I hope this satisfies the FTC regulation, as to what I heard on the site, it sounded like if the blog itself was dedicated to a specific product/s. But best to be safe.

About Me

My photo
Not much to say, a disabled dude who blogs when he can for fun and some spare change, really that's what it's been so far, spare change! But that's life, doing this helps it go by a little less painful by keeping my mind occupied. A tumbleweed would do that at this point :P Have fun and Take Each Day as a Gift!
