Various Players TransWarp has encountered Pt. 3

Yikes, I didn't know what I was getting into, I've collected a lot of names for these poor fingers! So back at it! 51-75!

51. IM Pavel Ponkratov (Infernal-XaM) FIDE 2499 Has played 50+ games vs TW!

52. GM Ioannis (Giannis) Nikolaidis (Snooker) FIDE 2516 One of several cool Greek GM's to play!

53. GM Leinier Dominguez Perez (ledope) FIDE 2695 (#26 in the world) Spelled Lenier on FIDE's site, Leinier on ICC's site, however on ICC he had to enter it himself. 1 win vs TransWarp! After the the win, I guess he figured that was good enough for him :)

54. IM Aurelien Dunis (TheDuns) FIDE 2514 Played a good many games vs TW, but hasn't played since end of Feb.

55. FM Terry Lujan Renato (RENATEX) FIDE 2260 Up and Comer from Peru. ICC Blitz (2945)

56. (hail)(IM) ICC Blitz (3196) No activity from this anonymous IM on ICC lately but logins.

57. GM Valeriy Aveskulov (Prokuror) FIDE 2535 Took only 3 swings at TW, who ducked.

58. GM Tigran L. Petrosyan (TIGRANO) FIDE 2616 NOT the former World Champion, but a Champion in my heart. He has left ICC over a dispute, I do not know why, I think he was accused of being computer aided (opinion only) Follow his handle's link and try to figure it out for yourself. He was a fun guy to talk with, always thanked for the games! I am deeply saddened to find out he left ICC (Just now while fixing the link to his handle) Too bad for the fans, he played 257 blitz games with TW. Will be missed.

59. IM Anthony Wirig (BIZOO) FIDE 2477 Played only bullet games with TW & TW likes bullet!

60. IM Igor Moizhess (lighter) FIDE 2398 Another strictly bullet player! (so far)

61. (vaska)(GM) another anonymous GM. ICC Blitz rating (3101) best of 3163 Played 5 games, last one a draw. Hasn't played since (back on Feb 1, 08)

62. (camelovich)(GM) anonymous, ICC Blitz rating (2953) best of 3365. Bullet player.

63. (IBorg)(GM anonymous, ICC Blitz (3154) best 3505, 1 win vs TransWarp! Not active lately.

64. GM Pentala Harikrishna (tomcruise) FIDE 2679 (#41 in the world) Another top GM from India, note on world rankings, there are ties, for example GM Harikrishna is tied with GM's V. Gashimov & K. Sasikiran with the 30th best at 2679 counting ties. FIDE gives the person with the most games played in that list the best spot. GM Harikrishna played 30 games so gets #41.
Gashimov had 18 to get #42. Seems like a fair tiebreak system.

65. GM Axel Bachmann (olimpus) FIDE 2519 Another cool player, recently awarded his GM title.

66. (Peachy) a strong ICC Blitz player at (2979) with a best of 3259 Never know who it could be.

67. (TheRealThing) A very strong Blitz player with an ICC rating of (3425) best of 3489. Tried 9 games vs TransWarp but came back empty handed. Seems to be inactive now. Nice to know who this was.

68. GM Bassem Amin (B-Amin) FIDE 2558 Strictly a bullet player with TransWarp, hasn't played in a while.

69. GM Baadur Jobava (Oligarkh) FIDE 2658 (#60 in the world) Played 5 games, last one a draw back in Jan. Who knows, might play again..

70. (Coffeehouse)(GM) anonymous ICC Blitz (3307) also best. 2 wins vs TransWarp last played in Feb. A nice player whoever it is.

71. IM Anton Kovalyov (kava) FIDE 2525 not much to say.. 1st started aborting games, was warned, but then started with the repeating moves and blockade business. What gratification can there be in doing the same thing over and over, gee Ma I drew a computer using the same moves for the 50th time! Did you see my "How to conquer Quake book?" I just don't believe there is anything to be gained by using a proven system repeatedly, do you learn anything after the 5th time? Yeah, that a computer will play a certain way in a certain position until the programmer can fix this weakness. A good comparison also is there are people who solved Rubik's Cube on their own, but yeah.. most learned from a book that taught patterns to recognize, then the cube sits unused... Who got the most out of it, the person who learned on their own. But the catch is...now the solution is out there, Pandora's box has been opened. This is why TransWarp now has a strict policy of noplaying players who repeat known moves to achieve blockades and then just moving a piece back and forth. I'm not talking about going 20 moves into the Ruy...and going for the win, but the deliberate attempts at blockading with no intent of trying for a win. Now I've nothing against kava...this just happened to be the place where I was reminded of the issue and naturally, I feel strongly about it.

72. GM Arkadij Naiditsch (James123) FIDE 2624 Just fell out of the FIDE Top 100 list. He has played many games vs TransWarp and is very cordial. A cool guy to have in this list and lucky he played TransWarp.

73. (Parbat)(GM) anonymous GM account. Inactive lately, ICC Blitz rating (2954) Played 1 standard game.

74. IM Garun Nureev (Corrector) Was anonymous account until Dos Hermanas. Played 75 games, hopefully will play more.

75. GM Varuzhan Akobian (SCORPION83) FIDE 2601 Played quite a few games in March, 08 Nice guy, hopefully will see him in my history list again! A top rated GM in the USA!

RE: FTC Blogger Compensation Endorsement Rule Dec 01, 2009

While TransWarp Chess does get compensation for banner ads from Google Adsense, Google Affiliate Program, Commission Junction Affiliate Program and Allposters.com. TransWarp Chess does try not to personally Endorse any specific product, while I the blogger may like the idea of certain products and services, it is up to you, the reader to decide if a product deserves to be looked at via the ads. I comment on chess and computer chess, this blog is NOT about the products that are featured in the ads. At any rate, to date TransWarp Chess' blog and the small sister blog Paranormal Questions, has in it's account $1.59 from Google Adsense, no distribution of funds until $50.00, $0.00 from Google Affiliate Program and $0.00 from CJ Affiliate Program, $5.74 in holding at Allposters.com until $25.00 is reached in commissions. All this well over a year of blogging, I guess some abuse the blogging system to the point that this rule was made, I hope this satisfies the FTC regulation, as to what I heard on the site, it sounded like if the blog itself was dedicated to a specific product/s. But best to be safe.

About Me

My photo
Not much to say, a disabled dude who blogs when he can for fun and some spare change, really that's what it's been so far, spare change! But that's life, doing this helps it go by a little less painful by keeping my mind occupied. A tumbleweed would do that at this point :P Have fun and Take Each Day as a Gift!
