SCORPION83, also the ICC handle of GM Varuzhan Akobian (Not to be confused with Akopian!), one of the top players in the United States, drew and beat TransWarp yesterday. This was early in the morning, so I didn't get to see the games live, but he actually was winning the drawn game as well, but Deep Rybka got him to accept a 3 fold repetition draw as he was in time trouble. It seems GM Akobian is getting much better, having only drawn Rybka 2.3.2a mp x64 8 times without a win in about 100 games. But he played very well in these two games, that's for sure, TransWarp was just 9 pts from it's goal of ICC elo of 4000, GM Akobian sure slapped her down a lot, now much time and luck to achieve the goal. But it's all in good fun, I congratulated GM Akobian, no response though. Some GM's just don't like to chat. (Even though it was a message), oh well.
Here are the two games, first the draw, then the win.
SCORPION83 vs TransWarp
And now the win, Deep Rybka could have made some better moves after evaluation, but you cannot control and automatic program, you have to live with her mistakes.

A nice game by GM Akobian

- Not much to say, a disabled dude who blogs when he can for fun and some spare change, really that's what it's been so far, spare change! But that's life, doing this helps it go by a little less painful by keeping my mind occupied. A tumbleweed would do that at this point :P Have fun and Take Each Day as a Gift!
